rural was created in the spring of 2012 as owner, Christina, was planning an event of her own and found unique resources to be very limited in the state line area.
“I envisioned oodles of unique details, but had a modest budget and minimal time to prepare. With limited resources available locally, I realized my creativity had to kick in quickly.”
And it did. Christina was delighted by the guests excitement with numerous inquiries and compliments on the decor.
Creativity is nothing new to this rural girl. Her history is rooted in primitive folk art design. Christina has over 25 years of experience in the design field including designing for the retail gift industry, her own line of DIY instructional patterns, and original finished items which have appeared in such magazines as Mercantile Gatherings and FOLK.
